Happy Valentine’s Day!

February 14, 2012 § Leave a Comment

The most upsetting thing about Valentine’s Day this year is that February’s half-over already. (How time flies!)

That said, it’s been a pretty good month so far. This week I have a piece on Christopher Bram and his (must-read) new book, Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America, in Next Magazine–read it here.

I’m also super excited to be running Alex Dimitrov’s love poem for Dorothea Lasky in a special Valentine’s Day edition of Lambda Literary Review‘s Poetry Spotlight. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss “You Are The Party I Want To Go To.”

And while you’re at it, visit Jeffery Berg’s blog, jdbrecords, to read a beautiful poem by Hansa Bergwall: “Year of Unserious Pursuits.” It’s from The Thames & Hudson Project, a new collaborative book by Bergwall and the great Timothy Liu. I, for one, cannot wait to get a copy.

Now go eat some candy!

Where Am I?
